Zufall Health’s Children’s Oral Health Program is funded through a grant from the New Jersey Department of Health and is implemented in north and central New Jersey by a Regional Oral Health Coordinator employed by Zufall Health.

Services

The Children’s Oral Health Program provides many educational programs and resources including:

  • School-based educational activities conducted by registered hygienists
  • “Save Our Smiles” voluntary, school-based fluoride rinse program
  • Educational resources and teaching kits for school nurses
  • Oral health education for participants in the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)
  • Oral health education for public health and social service professionals

  • Connection between oral and overall health

Eligibility: Priority is given to schools with a high percentage of children in the free/reduced lunch program and in high-need areas. Additional programs are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis.
