Appointments are required, but we make every effort to accommodate treatment for emergency walk-ins. If treatment isn’t possible due to provider availability, we will at least conduct an evaluation for patients with dental emergencies.
New dental patients who are not currently registered and receiving medical care at Zufall Health must register prior to making their first dental appointment. Registration can be completed on-site at any of our locations.

The Zufall Health Delta Dental Mobile is a licensed extension of Zufall Health. The 39-foot vehicle resembles a dental office with two fully-equipped dental exam rooms. Many of the services provided in a traditional dental office can also be provided on the van:
- Exams
- X-rays
- Cleanings
- Fillings
- Simple extractions
- Referrals to specialists
The vehicle maintains a calendar of regular and special visits to locations in north and central New Jersey where people may otherwise have difficulty accessing care, such as:
- Farms and greenhouses
- Veteran services organizations
- Shelters and soup kitchens
- Schools
- Public housing residences/housing authorities

Zufall Health’s pediatric dental team works with children to reduce their risk of tooth decay through preventive screenings and cleanings and oral health education. Parents are encouraged to bring children in for their first dental visit before their first birthday. Services include:
- Preventive care exams
- Coordination of care with Zufall pediatricians
- X-rays
- Cleanings
- Fluoride treatments
- Sealant applications
- Fillings
- Oral health education
- Orthodontic needs assessments
- Extractions

Zufall Health’s Children’s Oral Health Program (COHP) provides free, in-person or virtual educational programs and resources including:
- Age-appropriate oral health education for students, parents, community groups, and public health and social services professionals
- School-based educational activities conducted by registered dental hygienists/dentists
- Voluntary, school-based Fluoride Varnish program
- Teaching kits and educational resources for school nurses
- Oral health education for participants in the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)
- Programs adapted for special needs children

COHP is funded through a grant from the New Jersey Department of Health and is implemented in northern and central New Jersey by a Regional Oral Health Coordinator employed by Zufall Health (view brochure).
