Noah Goldman, MD, MBA, is the Medical Director of Cancer Services at Penn Medicine Princeton Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He is also a member of the Zufall Health Board of Directors.

For Dr. Noah Goldman, giving is rooted in a lifelong commitment to ensuring that every patient, regardless of circumstance, has access to quality care.

Joining the Zufall Health Board of Directors felt like a natural extension of his earlier work with low-income patients. While his current role as Medical Director of Cancer Services at Penn Medicine Princeton Health no longer places him on the front lines of care for underserved populations, board service allows him to continue that mission by guiding and overseeing programs that directly impact those in need.

Throughout his career, Dr. Goldman has consistently sought to provide every patient with high-quality care, regardless of the barriers they face. Seeing that standard upheld at Zufall Health, he says, is deeply rewarding. “Seeking out health care shouldn’t be scary,” he emphasizes, a reality that remains out of reach for many as financial barriers continue to grow. In a strained national health care system, patients are often forced to choose between taking on unmanageable medical bills or delaying care altogether, sometimes with life-threatening consequences.

Serving on the Board has also broadened Dr. Goldman’s understanding of what meaningful care looks like. He is particularly struck by the significant impact of Zufall’s dental services on patients’ lives. Alongside medical, behavioral health care, and the many supportive services offered, these programs reflect a commitment to treating the whole person. Many of these supportive services, he notes, are rarely found in larger hospital systems, yet they are critical to patients’ overall well-being.

Dr. Goldman’s perspective on healthcare continues to evolve through this work. While Zufall Health plays a vital role in bridging access gaps, it recognizes that significant challenges remain. That reality fuels his ongoing commitment. “I want to continue helping bridge those gaps,” he says, “for patients who are not getting the care they need.”

Coming from a family deeply rooted in medicine, Dr. Goldman was drawn to gynecologic oncology for its breadth, which allows him to care for patients comprehensively based on their individual needs. That same philosophy of whole-person care is what he values most in his work with Zufall.
