Spotlight On: Ivanna Rodriguez, Accounts Payable Manager

While you won’t find Ivanna Rodriguez taking vitals or reviewing treatment plans in an exam room, her work behind the scenes helps keep our community healthy just the same.
As Accounts Payable Manager and a key member of the Finance Department, Ivanna oversees the process of reviewing and paying vendor invoices from all Zufall locations. Her diligence helps ensure our clinical teams and staff have the many different resources fundamental to patient care—including everything from clinical instruments and personal protective equipment to electricity and computer software.
Ivanna joined Zufall in 2016 as a Patient Representative after first coming to the health center as a patient. “Getting care here myself gave me a real appreciation for the mission of making health care accessible to everyone,” she remembers.
Shortly after, Ivanna transitioned to Accounts Payable, serving first as a Clerk, then Specialist and ultimately Manager. In addition to earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from County College of Morris, she credits on-the-job experience and continued learning with helping her grow professionally.
Ivanna describes her days as fast-paced, with strong organizational skills helping her manage competing priorities. Tight deadlines, especially during month-end close, can be challenging, but she enjoys finding solutions and keeping everything on track.
The best part of her job, though, is understanding how her work supports the organization. “While I may not treat patients directly, my role helps keep our offices operating smoothly. Knowing that my work empowers our clinical teams to deliver compassionate, uninterrupted care is what makes every day so rewarding.”
