The Zufall Health Foundation

The mission of the Zufall Health Foundation is to financially support the important work of Zufall Health by focusing on three main goals:

Fundraising: Raising funds for the health center to provide high-quality, affordable, and culturally responsive health care for people and communities who experience barriers to care. This includes the Be Well Benefit, our largest annual fundraiser, taking place on Thursday, October 1 at the Morris Museum. RSVP by September 15 or make a donation.
Stewardship: Acting as good faith custodians of the gifts we receive, Thanking our donors in meaningful ways, and continuing to cultivate relationships with friends colleagues and supporters in the community to build even greater support for our mission.
Advocacy: Engaging and advocating for our mission to ensure that public policymakers understand the impact of our health center and the important care we provide to the communities we serve.

Board of Trustees

The Zufall Health Foundation is always looking for passionate and engaged volunteers to join its Board of Trustees. Your work will help advance Zufall Health’s mission and secure its financial future. Our Board is made up of enthusiastic, collaborative members involved in diverse activities including relationship building and referrals, fundraising, and event planning.

Prior experience in philanthropy, health care, nonprofits, or program management is helpful, but not required. For more information about joining our board, please submit a contact form.

How can I support Zufall Health?

Support to Zufall Health can be made through a one-time or recurring monetary donation, a matching gift from your employer, a gift of appreciated securities, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from an IRA, Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), or a planned gift. How is Zufall Health funded?

Zufall Health is supported by a variety of funding sources, including individual donations, service revenue, local, state, and federal grants, private foundation support, and corporate contributions. For more information about our funding sources, see our annual report.

How can my community organization partner with Zufall Health?

Zufall Health values partnerships with organizations that support populations facing difficulty accessing health care. We offer a variety of ways to collaborate, tailored to your organization’s needs and the people you serve:

Mobile Unit Visits: We can bring our fully equipped mobile medical or dental unit directly to your location, providing convenient access to preventive care, screenings, and basic treatments.

On-Site Resources and Education: Our staff can deliver educational sessions, workshops, or resource materials on topics such as healthy living, chronic condition management, preventive care, nutrition, and more.

Event Participation: We can join your health fairs, open houses, or celebratory events with an information table and/or a mobile unit.

Does Zufall Health offer volunteer opportunities?

Zufall will occasionally seek volunteers for special events and community activities. We also have opportunities to participate in Public Health AmeriCorps, a national program that promotes expansion of the public health workforce, health equity, and access to services for underserved populations. Members gain hands-on experience providing outreach and health education in a full-time (40 hours/week), 11-month service term.

Does Zufall Health accept corporate sponsorship opportunities?

Yes. The Zufall Health Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. As such, we accept fully tax-deductible business sponsorships of our programs, events, and initiatives that support access to care across New Jersey.
