What is Zufall Health Center?
We are a fully licensed, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been operating in New Jersey since 1990.

Who do you serve?
We welcome patients of all age groups.  Treatment is available to everyone regardless of income or insurance status.

Are your doctor’s certified?
Yes. The doctors at Zufall Health Center are fully licensed by the state of New Jersey and are board certified in their specialties.

Do you accept health insurance?
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and New Jersey Family Care, as well as a number of private insurance plans. If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card with you.

What if I have no health insurance?
Patients without health insurance will be charged a sliding scale fee based on their ability to pay.

Do you offer dental care?
Yes. We offer dental services for children and adults including routine cleaning, examinations, and restorative work.

Do I  need an appointment?
For medical care, walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are suggested. Wait times will generally be longer for those without an appointment. For dental care, appointments are necessary.

What information should I bring to my first visit?
You will need:
•Identification
•Proof of income such as a pay stub, your income tax return, or a letter of employment
•Verification of address

What is an FQHC?
A Federally Qualified Health Center receives government funding and must meet the highest standards of clinical care. A private, not-for-profit agency, we are governed by a board of directors, many of whom are patients of the health center.
